The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) endorsed Alabama’s second congressional district Republican candidate, Caroleene Dobson, on Wednesday.

The NFIB made the announcement at Spectrum Collision in Mobile.

"Alabama's small businesses are proud to support Caroleene Dobson for election to Congress," said Rosemary Elebash, NFIB Alabama state director. "We are confident that Caroleene Dobson will prove to be a strong voice for our state's small businesses and will support pro-growth policies to put the small business economy on a path towards prosperity. During her campaign, Caroleene Dobson has shown a strong commitment to small business, and we look forward to working with her in Congress."

"Caroleene Dobson deeply understands business issues," Sharon Sussin, NFIB senior national political director, stated. "She has proven to be a small business advocate and has pledged to stand up for Main Street priorities, including reducing red tape that stifles business growth and making tax relief for small businesses permanent. We are pleased to endorse her today."

Dobson said both of her parents were small business owners in Alabama.

“Small business success is also dependent on federal policies that foster growth and don’t hinder it,” she said.

She vowed to fight policies that harm small businesses.
