The investigation is not over for prosecutors in Bibb County as they prepare for one of the most complex and disturbing cases in the rural county’s history.
The trial for eight suspects in an underground bunker sex trafficking case has been set for June 22, 2026. However, with the long list of suspects and at least 15 more persons of interest, it could take the state much longer to prepare.
Prosecutors are requesting DNA samples from the eight suspects who are currently behind bars,
According to court documents, the sex trafficking ring involved children as young as two years old, and the alleged incidents took place between Nov. 1, 2024, and April 25, 2025. However, Sheriff Jody Wade previously stated he believed the crimes began back in 2022.
The date of the offenses is now in question, as defense attorneys are requesting a more definite statement based on their clients’ ages. The attorneys stated that the specifics are crucial in determining which defendants may be eligible for youthful offender status.
Those charged are as follows:
Andres Trejo-Velasquez, 29, of Brent, is a suspected Sureños gang member. Trejo-Velasquez is charged with six counts of first-degree human trafficking.
Timothy St. John, Jr., 23, of Brent, is charged with two counts of first-degree rape, four counts of first-degree sodomy, four counts of human trafficking, three counts of first-degree kidnapping, bestiality, and aggravated cruelty to animals.
Rebecca Brewer, 30, of Silverhill, is charged with eight counts of human trafficking, eight counts of first-degree kidnapping and three counts of sexual torture.
Ricky Terrell, 44, of Brent, is charged with first-degree rape.
Sara Louise Terrell, 42, of Brent, is charged with sexual torture and two counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old.
William Chase McElroy, 22, of Brent, is facing 20 charges, including human trafficking, rape, sodomy and kidnapping.
Olivia Shailee Elam, 26, of Brent, is charged with five counts of first-degree rape, nine counts of first-degree sodomy, nine counts of first-degree human trafficking, eight counts of first-degree kidnapping, aggravated child abuse and sexual torture/abuse.
Dalton Terrell, 22, of Brent, is facing 22 charges, including kidnapping, rape and sodomy.
The suspects in the case are considered innocent until proven guilty.
