Shomari Figures, the Democrat nominee for Alabama’s second congressional district, raised $475,879.12 for his campaign in the second quarter of 2024, according to an FEC report filed on Monday.
His Republican opponent, Caroleene Dobson, raised about $527,000 over the same time period.

According to the FEC, Figures had $301,948.01 cash on hand at the end of June. Dobson has $471,813.59 available. Figures has loaned his campaign $25,000. Dobson’s loans to her campaign total almost $1.4 million.
