Former President Donald Trump is giving U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) his “complete and total endorsement” in the North Alabama Republican's reelection to Alabama’s fourth congressional district.

“Congressman Robert Aderholt is doing a fantastic job representing the people of Alabama’s 4th Congressional District,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Trump continued, “Robert is an America First Conservative who is working hard to Secure our Borders, Strengthen our Military, Stop the Weaponization of 'Justice', Expand Rural Broadband, and Bring Manufacturing Back to the Great State of Alabama.”

In response to Trump’s endorsement, Aderholt said, “I am honored to have the endorsement of President Donald J. Trump. During his Presidency, Donald Trump and I worked together to put the American people, and their interest, first in everything we did.”

“He saw firsthand that I am always fighting for the people of the 4th District and the people of Alabama. Trump’s words send a clear message that he knows I will continue to fight for the things we both believe in and the things the people of the 4th District believe in,” he continued.

On Tuesday, Aderholt went on FM Talk 1065's "The Jeff Poor Show" to discuss Trump's endorsement.

He touted his previous history of working with Trump, saying, “I had the privilege to work with President Trump during his first term, and I am looking forward to working with him during his. next administration.”

When asked how he felt about Trump’s chances of winning next November, he replied, “I feel good and a little bit better every day because obviously every time I turn on the radio to hear a news update, they’re talking about how Biden’s numbers are falling.”

“I think by the time the election rolls around next year, I don’t even think it’ll be a contest because I think so many people will want a change, and people have seen that Bidenomics has not worked,” he added.

Aderholt concluded the interview by saying, “I look forward to the United States being respected around the world, and we will, as Trump says, Make America Great Again.”

Justin Holcomb is challenging Aderholt in the Republican primary next March.

Trump also recently endorsed U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) for House District 3 and U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) in House District 6.
