President Donald Trump continues to draw heavy criticism for his "America First" agenda, particularly when it comes to the Russia-Ukraine War and involvement in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Trump has long criticized the funding imbalance between the U.S. and other NATO countries. Tensions reached a new high last Friday following a heated meeting at the White House with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Now, many European countries are on edge about what to do if the U.S. withdraws support from Ukraine's war effort.

Despite Democrat backlash, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tubberville (R-Auburn) said that seeing Trump's American First agenda in action is precisely what most voters want and that "there's a new sheriff in town" on the world stage.

"That's what the American taxpayer has been waiting for," Tuberville said last week on Newsmax. "The Democrats have had control, what, 12 of the last 16 years? Our country is in so bad shape. God bless President Trump for wanting to take this on. He didn't have to do it. But he's got a plan. The animals have been running a zoo, but now the rats are running for cover. The Democrats have no clue. They have no clue how to handle a guy that's actually doing the job as a leader of the free world."

Aside from the conflict in Ukraine, Tuberville discussed his concern about reports of Iraq closing in on producing two nuclear bombs and what Israel's response might be.

"They're getting close to two nuclear bombs, and Israel is not going to put up with it," Coach said. "Netanyahu has already told them, 'Hey, listen, if you come up with a bomb, get ready because we're coming after you.' So, President Trump, I'm sure he's tightening the screws on Iran, and he should because they've been out of control. They funded all these terrorist groups all over the world because Joe Biden has allowed them to make money with the oil for the last four years. It's all the Democrats. again, they're not going to take the blame for this, but they should because the ball has been in their court, and they've done not one thing about it."
