ENTERPRISE — The Enterprise Police Department is currently searching for Shannon Scott Anthony, 40, after he escaped from a police standoff Friday morning.
At 4:06 a.m., Enterprise Police responded to reports of disorderly conduct at a residence in the 100 block of Bowl Weevil Circle. Officers found two men fighting at the scene and were threatened with a firearm by Anthony before he fled into the residence.
Officers safely rescued three individuals from the residence and began a standoff with the suspect. At 9:30 a.m., officers entered the house and found that he had fled, potentially out an open window.
Dothan Police SWAT and K-9 Units are on the scene to assist, along with an airborne unit.
Anthony is considered armed and dangerous. He is wanted for burglary, certain persons forbidden to possess firearms and two counts of menacing.
