New video obtained by 1819 News shows the Wednesday afternoon shooting on Interstate 65 in Alabaster.

Two people were shot in their lower extremities, according to the Alabaster Police Department.
The dash camera video shows a semi-truck in the southbound lane coming over into traffic in the right lane. The video shows what appears to be a brief altercation between people in a small car and the truck driver. Several shots were fired before the car pulled over onto the shoulder.
The 18-wheeler remained still as traffic continued to move.
The shooting occurred at the 238-mile marker.
