U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) and political newcomer Case Dixon have qualified with the Alabama Republican Party to run for the special primary election for Congressional District 6.

BamaCarry PAC made two endorsements over Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, the group endorsed Case Dixon for Congressional District 6. Dixon is challenging incumbent Gary Palmer (R-Hoover). On Monday, the group endorsed Andrew Sorrell for Secretary of State. 

‘We need something different’: Case Dixon announces challenge to Gary Palmer for Congressional District 6

Alabama native Case Dixon announced today that he is challenging Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) for U.S. Congress District 6. In a campaign announcement, Dixon said, "I'm running out of necessity. This is not a decision I take lightly. I truly feel I have no other choice."
