Members of the state’s Certificate of Need Review Board voted to delay approval of a new ambulatory surgery center in Montgomery on Wednesday.
Loxley Mayor Richard Teal said he is disappointed after the Certificate of Need (CON) Review Board denied South Baldwin Regional Medical Center’s plans for a freestanding emergency department in the city. However, he said the fight for the people is not over.
