Alabama Secretary of Commerce Greg Canfield will join Burr & Forman, a Birmingham law firm, as managing director of economic development on January 2.
Governor Kay Ivey announced Friday that Alabama’s Commerce Secretary Greg Canfield will be leaving the officeafter serving 12 years in the office.
“I am proud of our progress and predict we are well on our way to surpassing the goal of adding 500,000 additional credentialed individuals to our workforce by 2025,” said Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey,
"This significant expansion project shows the world that another world-class company is thriving in our state,” said Gov. Ivey. “This growth will solidify James Hardie’s presence in Prattville, and I know we can work together to create a bright future for the community."
“With this expansion, Shinhwa will have invested over $190 million and created more than 185 well-paying jobs since choosing Auburn as their first U.S. location," said Gov. Kay Ivey.
