Nearly all of Alabama’s Republican congressional candidates received high rankings and endorsements from the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund ahead of November’s election, displaying voting records considered supportive of gun rights and the Second Amendment.
The National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action recently successfully acquired plaintiffs in a lawsuit to challenge the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives rule defining who qualifies as a firearms dealer.
“This unconstitutional mandate won’t make Americans any safer and will instead result in the disarming of thousands of lawful gun owners who simply want to protect their families and exercise their constitutional rights,” said Rep. Barry Moore.
