The Alabama Farmers Federation (ALFA) has endorsed several candidates in Baldwin County races this election cycle.

The latest is the endorsement of Alabama House District 96 candidate Danielle Duggar.

“Danielle Duggar is a conservative leader in our community and one who truly wants to represent our best interests in Montgomery,” said Baldwin County Farmers Federation President Hope Cassebaum. “She will ensure farmers have a voice in the House of Representatives.”

Duggar, the secretary for the North Baldwin County Republican Women’s Club, is a former state leader with Eagle Forum and a former state ambassador for Alliance Defending Freedom.”

ALFA also picked three Republican candidates for Baldwin County Commission: Richard Cox for District 1, Angelo Fermo for District 2 and John “Tater” Harris for District 4.

“These are outstanding candidates who have invested their careers, personal lives and professional time in Baldwin County. They have a vested interest in our future,” said Cassebaum. “They all have a heart for Baldwin County along with a strong work ethic, proven leadership skills and management experience needed to move Baldwin County forward.”

Cox, of Stockton, is a timber dealer, logger and land management professional.

Fermo, of Daphne, is a retired Homeland Security special agent and anti-human trafficking expert and volunteer.

Harris, of Orange Beach, is a small business owner, former construction manager and chairman of the Orange Beach Public Safety Committee.

Previously, Alfa endorsed Gulf Shores businessman Joe Freeman for House District 95 and Jerry Carl for Alabama’s First Congressional District.

The primary election will be held on May 19, 2026, and the general election will be held on November 3, 2026.
