To gain and maintain a political advantage, Marxist-Liberal Democrats use every opportunity to characterize Conservatives as racist. With no effective Conservative counter-response, the racist labeling has taken root, viewing Conservatives as bigoted and evil.

Controlled by the mainstream news media, the Left consistently attaches a racist connotation to every Conservative initiative and point of view. The U.S. entertainment industry, which they also control, produces movies and television shows with examples of such mischaracterizations.

Because of the Left’s negative propaganda and Conservative missteps, the word “conservative” slams the door on successful political discourse. The Left’s racist name-calling keeps Conservatives on the defense. As a result, Marxist-Liberals are winning the narrative battle today and Conservatives are losing ground.

The only dog in the fight, Conservatives must be on the offensive ALL the time in order to defeat the Left’s anti-liberty agenda.

Back in 2018, a survey at the University of Washington-Seattle revealed, “Many left-leaning students at the University of Washington-Seattle harbor feelings that Republicans and conservatives are “evil,” “inhuman,” or “not even a person,” according to a team of University of Washington psychology professors.

Conservative students find themselves unwelcomed on high school and college campuses. Because of the word “conservative,” they are vilified by teachers, professors and administrators and sometimes they are physically assaulted by Marxist-Liberal students. Any parent of a Conservative child in high school or college should be extremely concerned about their child’s safety and well-being.

Conservatives, especially Conservative students, must be empowered and equipped to guard themselves against the Left’s hateful racist name-calling and successfully defend their Conservative point of view.

So, why do Liberals think Conservatives are “evil,” “inhuman,” or “not even people?”

It is not hard to figure out why. Just look at the news. Watch a sitcom. Conservatives and conservatism are continually demonized, put down and made fun of. It goes back to what I mentioned previously. The word “conservative” is a political trigger that fuels an angry emotional response, and the same goes for the word “Republican.”

No matter if the person is old or young, White or Black, male or female, many Americans think of a Nazi or racist when the word “conservative” is mentioned.

Here is where Marxist-Liberal Democrats are being disingenuous and deceptive: The Democratic Party was founded to maintain and expand slavery for the wealth and power of slave plantation owners. In spite of the U.S. Constitution, Democrats launched and fought our country’s Civil War against the United States in a last-ditch effort to maintain slavery and achieve their goal. It was Frederick Douglass who declared political war to end slavery. As a result, the Republican Party was founded to stop the spread of slavery, and eventually abolished it.

Moreover, the Democratic Party used prison chain gangs of Black men accused of nothing more than being Black; used sharecropping, Jim Crow laws and racial segregation. They violently stopped Black Americans from voting. They incited mobs to lynch Black men, who were falsely accused.

The racial hate started by the Democratic Party has carried over into today.

Can you believe the unmitigated gall of Liberal-Democrats to call Conservatives racists ─ knowing their sordid past regarding their cruel and oppressive treatment of Blacks?

We must improve the brand of conservatism and come up with a new name to identify ourselves politically. The word “conservative” is problematic for freedom advocates. More often than not, people will stop listening to you when they realize you are a Conservative.

What is the moniker and Liberty message that work? I suggest “Frederick Douglass Republican.”

Douglass helped lead the United States to abolish slavery and spent the rest of his life writing and speaking about the importance of the tenets of Liberty – the 12 Life-Empowering values. They are (1) Respect for the U.S. Constitution, (2) Respect for Life, (3) Belief in the Limited Power of Government, (4) Belief in Personal Responsibility, (5) Economic Prosperity, (6) Education-Parental Choice, (7) Women's Rights, (8) The Right to Keep and Bear Arms, (9) Free Speech, (10) Religious Liberty; (11) Immigration; and (12) The Right to Vote.
