The so-called “Respect for Marriage Act,” which should have been titled “The Disrespect for God’s Definition of Marriage Act,” was recently passed and signed into law by President Joe Biden, with the help of 12 Republicans.

Today, our Congress and the Biden administration continue their efforts to mislead us about an even more troubling issue. They are trying to make Americans believe that their checks from the government will cease or be interrupted if an omnibus spending bill doesn’t pass by the end of the year.

Through the 2022 election, even with all its problems, Marxist-liberal Democrats have lost control of the House of Representatives by a slim margin, beginning after the first of the new year in 2023. Since all spending bills must begin in the House according to the U.S. Constitution, Democrats and RINO Republicans are mounting a full-court press to keep the new House majority from having any control over spending or the federal government itself, going forward.

Democrats and establishment Republicans, including Alabama Senator Richard Shelby, have been involved in formulating this huge, unnecessary spending compromise bill, which would keep the new House of Representatives from being able to reduce and eliminate horrible spending now underway, and the programs which that spending supports. They keep warning of a partial federal government shutdown if it doesn’t pass, as if that could be catastrophic to U.S. citizens. It can’t be because social security and other government checks will keep coming.

Not enacting a new spending bill before the first of the year can be catastrophic to some federal bureaucrats and their ability to keep fooling us. That is why we should do everything we can to persuade our current congressmen and senators to vote against it, even at the risk of the consequences. Shut the government down if that’s what it takes!

We do not need our federal government to continue spending billions of dollars on their harmful global warming/man-made climate change hoax. We don’t need them to keep spending to make children believe that they can be any sex they want to be, and to keep their parents from having any control over their education. We don’t need to keep spending without limit on a war in Ukraine, partly to keep Russia and Ukraine from exposing our government’s bioweapons labs in Ukraine and the crimes of the Biden family there. We especially do not need spending to continue every Marxist-liberal Democrat effort. Marxist-liberal Democrats and RINO Republicans have our country messed up.

We do need to terminate prosecution of January 6 defendants over a perfectly legal protest that was turned into something worse by Antifa actors and government agents doing the bidding of Democrats and release all the political prisoners Democrats have taken and kept locked up. We do need to spend money to investigate the Democrat Russian collusion hoax against President Trump, and the politicization of the FBI and CIA, which are supposed to exist to serve the security of the American people.

Stop this omnibus spending bill now and let the newly elected House of Representatives take steps needed to begin healing our nation. There is much legitimate work to be done.

Frederick Douglass delivered his “West India Emancipation” speech at Canandaigua, New York, on August 3, 1857. The quote that follows is one of the most mentioned of all his public orations. This quote is precisely the reason we must be involved in the legislative process. We must AGITATE all politicians, regardless if the word “Democrat” or “Republican” is after their last name. We must vote and AGITATE; not vote and ABDICATE.

“Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both.”

Douglass continued, “The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.”
