Since Jan. 6, 2021, the favorite talking point of Democrats is that Republicans, specifically Trump, are out to destroy “Our Democracy!!!” Honestly, maybe they should just trademark the phrase at this point.
Aside from the obvious issue that we don’t have a democracy – we are a Constitutional Republic – this constant barrage is nothing more than gaslighting. Democrats don’t actually believe we have a democracy, and they don’t want one. They want an oligarchy.
Stay with me, friends; I’ll yet prove my case.
Think back to your high school government class and recall that an oligarchy is a form of government in which the country is ruled by a small group of people. It is not ruled by representatives elected by the people to represent their ideas and values – that’s a Republic. Instead, the country is ruled by a small class of people, otherwise known as the Elites.
I am going to call them “The Top Democrats.” You may know them by their proper names: the Clintons and the Obamas.
(I pause here to say, I am not suicidal, nor do I have any health risks that would make my life suddenly end. Try taking me out now, Hillary!)
Rather than giving you years of data to prove my case, I’ll just show you a recent example.
A few weeks ago, Joe Biden, who had won the primary for the Democratic ticket, dropped out of the race. He didn’t say why. You and I know, my reading friend, that the reason was likely his declining mental health. But that was the case before, so why drop out now?
Because he got caught. The world saw it and he knew he couldn’t keep gaslighting the people into believing he was fine anymore. More importantly, it was affecting his poll numbers. If he stayed in, the Democrats would surely lose. So out drops Joe, at the begging of his friends.
Who would be the new nominee? Did they have a new primary where the American people got a say? Nope. They put up their next best strategy: Kamala Harris.
Harris secured the Democratic Party nomination not because she won a single primary in her life or had mediocre approval numbers but because she was endorsed by Joe Biden, the Clintons, and the Obamas.
But wait! There’s more.
Every good oligarchy must have excellent backup dancers who bring the masses with them. In this case, it’s the media and religious elites.
Just last week, Christianity Today (better called Christianity Yesterday?) ran an article titled “Black Christian Leaders Find Hope with Kamala Harris.” Is it because her policies are in anyway Christian? Do they find hope behind extreme leftist ideology? No. Just because she’s a black woman. Her immutable characteristics have done the job the Democrats hoped it would. Now the Christian elites just need to push it on normal Christians preying upon their kind characters.
For a more thorough understanding of how the left has been hijacking Christianity through its elites, go read Megan Basham’s new book, “Shepherds for Sale.” It’s truly a bombshell.
The news media is going right along as well. Have you noticed that in the two weeks since Harris became the nominee, she has yet to do a single interview or answer any press questions? Yet the media fawns over her.
Now, lest we leave out the most vulnerable to the power of feelings and suggestion, let’s remember that white women have also been preyed upon not only by appealing to their made-up sense of white guilt but also by their goddess, Taylor Swift, who appears to have subtly favored Harris in an Instagram post. These women cause earthquakes at her concerts. She’s counting on them to do the same at the ballot box.
These things are just a drop in the bucket of the actions of the left in the past 16 years. But unfortunately, this is an article, not a book, so I must conclude.
Next time your nonbinary cousin or middle-aged white female friend insists that voting for Trump will result in the end of our democracy, correct them: they really mean their oligarchy. Then skip away with pride and the desire to put an end to that oligarchy.
You would also do well to remind them that the U.S. is a constitutional republic not a democracy, because it would appear public education has failed them. But I have not failed you, my dear reader, for now, you walk away with knowledge. And knowledge is power.
