U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) raised $1.2 million in July for his 2026 campaign to be the next governor of Alabama.
Governor Kay Ivey is term-limited from seeking re-election. Tuberville reported spending $260,056.99 in July, with a total cash-on-hand of $4,742,075.86, according to a campaign finance report filed on Monday.
July monthly campaign finance reports for state campaigns were due on Monday.
Attorney General
In the Republican primary for attorney general, former Alabama Supreme Court Associate Justice Jay Mitchell reported raising $405,550 and spending $58,868.58 in July. After a $25,000 donation from Bruce Wagner, Sr. of Mobile on Friday, Mitchell has $1,638,983.57 in cash-on-hand.
Katherine Robertson reported raising $89,105 and spending $162,011.48 in July. She also received another large donation of $100,000 from the Nashville-based nonprofit First Principles Action Inc. on Monday, bringing her cash-on-hand total to $1,258,688.64.
Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey reported raising $7,040 and spending $4,361.94 in July, with cash-on-hand of $89,549.39.
Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall is term-limited from seeking re-election and is running for U.S. Senate.
Lieutenant Governor
In the Republican primary for lieutenant governor, Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen reported raising $139,045 and spending $8,976.81 in July. Allen has a cash-on-hand balance of $389,719.10.
Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries Rick Pate reported raising $100,536.89 and spending $22,740.59 in July in his campaign to be Alabama’s next lieutenant governor. Pate has a cash-on-hand balance of $347,592.26.
Nicole Wadsworth donated $100,000 to her campaign on July 25. She also reported raising $10,050 and spending $4,014.80 in July. Her cash-on-hand balance is $143,195.52.
Dean Odle reported a cash-on-hand balance of $12,573.36.
Lt. Gov. Will Ainsworth is term-limited from seeking re-election.
Secretary of State
In the Republican primary for Secretary of State, Caroleene Dobson reported raising $116,400 and spending $15,910.53 in July. She has a cash-on-hand balance of $600,489.47. She loaned her campaign $500,000 shortly after announcing her campaign.
Alabama State Auditor Andrew Sorrell reported raising $34,282.72 and spending $38,930.17. Sorrell has cash-on-hand of $309,409.73 for his secretary of state run.
Current Secretary of State Wes Allen is running for lieutenant governor.
Correction: An earlier version of this story gave the incorrect amount of funds raised by the Tuberville campaign in July. Tuberville raised $1.2 million in July, not $700,000.
