An Auburn University professor was awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages after being removed as chair of his department for speaking out about the school’s athletic programs’ involvement in academics. 

The Alabama Supreme Court ruled unanimously Friday to allow a free speech lawsuit to proceed by a Young Americans for Liberty chapter and student-member Joshua Greer against the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). 

No matter how evil, all speech is protected by the Constitution.
