Joshua Whitehouse, who served as the White House Liaison to the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security during the Trump administration, released a statement on Monday affirming Casey Wardynski’s role in implementing President Donald J. Trump’s Make America Great Again (MAGA) agenda.
Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill (R) told the 1819 News that Mike Lindell has no credibility after Lindell questioned the integrity of the May 24 primary results in Alabama and claimed that Blanchard and Ivey should be in a runoff.

The Republican and Democratic primaries are on Tuesday. You must have a valid photo ID with you and vote at the polling place you are assigned in order to participate in the election. If there is a runoff election next month you can only vote in the runoff of the party primary that you participate in today. There is also a state constitutional amendment on the ballot.
The Alabama Libertarian Party will be on the Nov. 8 general election, Secretary of State John Merrill told the 1819 News. The Libertarian Party has 69 candidates including Jimmy Blake for Governor and John Sophocleus for U.S. Senate.
Public Service Commission candidate John Hammock is the Mayor of Tallassee. He argued that the Biden administration is intentionally driving up fossil fuel prices in order to force Americans to transition to cleaner forms of energy. Hammock said that he will work harder than the incumbent commissioner.
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Chad "Chig" Martin emphasized the ability of a governor to be able to work across racial and political lines to do what is best for the people of the state. Martin favors the passage of a lottery with all of the proceeds going to education.
State Rep. Dickie Drake (R-Leeds) is running for re-election in House District 45. He cited as his top accomplishments the military bills that he has passed in his role as Chair of the Military and Veterans Affairs Committee as well as his bill to fight child abuse and legislation to protect homeowners with septic tanks from being charged sewer fees.
Republican voters go to the polls on Tuesday to pick their party's nominees for governor, senate, congress, secretary of state, state senate, state supreme court, attorney general, state board of education, and much more.
Every Democratic primary ballot will have the statewide gubernatorial race, the U.S. Senate race, and the statewide constitutional amendment dealing with a bond issue for state parks. Some jurisdictions will have other races including State Democratic Executive Committee.
Vimal Patel is a businessman who owns four hotels and a laundromat while also working as a commercial real estate broker. He is running in Tuesday's Democratic primary in Alabama's Second Congressional District.

Lance Bell is a St. Clair County attorney who is running for Alabama State Senate in House District 11 in the May 24 Republican Party Primary. He is a former law enforcement officer and former Chairman of the St. Clair County Republican Party.

The party nominees for 46 of Alabama's 105 House of Representatives seats will be decided in the Democratic and Republican Party primaries on Tuesday, May 24. Republicans presently have a supermajority in the Alabama House of Representatives.
