An illegal alien from Honduras was arrested late last week after breaking into a Marshall County residence with a homeowner inside. According to local law enforcement, the woman called police around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday and told dispatch that someone was currently inside her home after hearing glass shatter.

Suspected illegal aliens arrested by immigration authorities while on way to Franklin County poultry plant

Several individuals were arrested Wednesday morning by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents while en route to Russellville's Pilgrim’s Pride meat processing plant. According to Franklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver, at least 20 people were detained between two checkpoints- with one at County Road 44 and County Road 244 and the other on County Road 75 and County Road 724.
