When a teachers’ union compares its relationship with conservatives to Donald Trump’s diplomacy with Kim Jong Un, you know Alabama politics are shifting in strange ways.

Alabama has always stood for hard work, independence and opportunity. Those values align perfectly with the promise of digital freedom.

The men who choose to walk with Christ and love their families well are unfortunately rare today. But when these men lead our families with love and wisdom, we can say with great confidence that Father does indeed know best.

Alabama families have seen what such targeted enforcement looks like: just so far this year, ICE has announced the arrests of a series of individuals with serious criminal convictions in our state. 

The filibuster, frustrating as it can be, is consistent with the American framers’ view that the majority should not run roughshod over the minority, that in making policy all factions should have a voice. Eliminating the filibuster would undermine consensus and bipartisanship and marginalize minority parties. 

If local banks lose deposits, it affects everyone. Those deposits are what banks use to make loans – for homes, for tractors, for business expansions, for all the things that keep a local economy moving.

What if a mere meme could be anchored in the unseen? What if, every time I heard “six, seven!” – I could laugh quietly, reminded of all the things 6-7 can mean?

Perhaps corporate governance isn’t boring after all; it’s where values meet the balance sheet.

Brethren, heed this call and suit up in the armor of God, take up the shield of righteousness and wield the swift terrible sword of might so that we may be a shield for the persecuted, a deterrent to evil, a signal to the enemies of Christ that the age of impunity is over.

One can never tell what stories are behind the faces we encounter in our daily lives.

If we do not work to see that 15% of Alabama SNAP recipients reduced, working to help people become as self-sufficient as possible, all we are doing is fostering dependence on government and enabling the socialist mindset.

Mamdani’s win is alarming, not just because of his socialist agenda – which will be disastrous for New York City – but also because of his views on immigration.

To avoid more shutdowns in the future, Trump should simply go back to the original interpretation of the Antideficiency Act.

Whereas the current administration has the benefit of context and history as mitigating factors for its current actions regarding the ICE crackdowns, the Democrats have no such benefit, so in the end it is they – not we – who are more rightly imputed with the designation of fascist.

Thanks to the revival of Alabama journalism coming via 1819 News, I find myself called out for rude and less than professional commentary. 

We know the leaders in the cause of American independence. But can you name a single American opponent of independence? Probably not. But they too were Americans who deserve to be remembered.

Across Alabama, public schools are being quietly transformed under the banner of mental health reform.

Eventually, a real wolf will show up at the door, and the tragedy will be that no one will believe them. They too carelessly and too callously called “wolf!” when none was there – all until people stopped telling the difference between honest men and hungry wolves.

Alabama has proven we know how to run elections the right way. What we need now is for Congress to give our local officials the consistency they deserve, the kind of reliable funding that keeps preparation from turning into reaction.

The state that once changed the nation’s moral direction can do so again – but only if it shakes off its guilty conscience and reclaims the moral confidence of its own history. Alabama doesn’t need to atone forever. It needs to lead. 

Non-public education is not fringe. It is a growing part of Alabama’s education landscape. Families who choose private schools, church schools, microschools, hybrid programs, or home education are not trying to avoid accountability. They are exercising liberty.

Since Congress rarely passes annual appropriations bills on time, maybe it’s time to outsource the job to AI. At least the algorithms meet their deadlines.

We have more power to change the world than we think.

Come 2026, this madness will reap its whirlwind. The Democratic National Party, already enfeebled, will splinter further, their progressive overlords exposed as the architects of irrelevance. Trump’s era has unmasked them – a cabal of complainers, shorn of media might, repelling the rational with rhetoric that's as freakish as it is futile.

Democrats are using hardworking Americans as political pawns in a desperate attempt to revive their leftist agenda that voters soundly rejected.

Similar to Marx, Gentile used the terms fascism and socialism interchangeably in the manifesto. If you take an hour or two to read the original “Manifesto of Fascist Intellectuals” and “The Doctrine of Fascism,” you’ll quickly conclude that references to Republicans being fascists are absurd.

This hoax isn't about saving polar bears, it's about control. Wrap it in green virtue-signaling, and suddenly you've got a blank check to strip away freedoms, reassign trillions in wealth, and remake society in the image of unelected bureaucrats.
