There have been wars and rumors of wars since the beginning of time. But an interesting dynamic is the fact that we have rarely seen in recent history an armed conflict in the Western Hemisphere. 

Standing right beside President Trump in the Oval Office for this remarkable announcement reminded me of why I do this job: to advance the interests of the great people of Alabama.

The NFL, willingly or not, is acting as a conduit for that cultural experimentation. Instead of celebrating athletic skill and American tradition, the league is prioritizing messaging and signaling.

My mother always told me to smile. Especially when I didn’t want to. She often told me to smile when I was sad, when trying on school clothes, or whenever I was forced to eat beef liver at gunpoint.

The Yellowhammer State’s failure to translate electoral supremacy into policy coherence merely exemplifies a nationwide malady: the hollowing out of conservative governance where conservative rhetoric abounds.

As Christians, we hold the light of truth. Only we hold that.

Small business owners already deal with enough stress. They shouldn’t have to worry about filing reams of paperwork just to avoid breaking a law that doesn’t even stop crime. And if the law comes back, they’ll have to go through the same painful process every time something changes.

As the fall season begins, let us remember the historical events that help define us, reflecting on the fact that, choosing the proper way forward cannot be achieved without some reconciliation with the past. 

Congratulations to the people of Alabama, to our men and women in uniform, and to every leader who stood firm in advocating for what is right. This victory belongs to all of us—but most importantly, it strengthens the safety and readiness of the United States.

This Labor Day, let us contemplate the Biblical meaning and purpose of work, the dignity of honest labor that uplifts the worker while serving the employer and the customer. 

Thankfully, President Trump and Secretary Hegseth are putting our nation’s security first and moving SPACECOM to the place where it will be most effective and provide the most value to taxpayers.

Athletic eligibility shouldn’t be abused to discourage parents from taking advantage of school choice on behalf of their children’s academic future. The sore losers in traditional public education who have long been nothing but plain wrong must not win by technicalities.

The depth of Russian duplicity created a hostile environment that would take years to thaw. 

Blue states, red states – who cares? Victims of crime don’t want your politics. They want to live free from those who seek to do them harm.

If the law is the architecture of liberty, then community is the mortar that holds its stones together.

Our kids won’t fully appreciate the magnitude of America's 250th birthday celebration unless we start preparing them now. And Alabama has the chance to lead the way.
