As I reflected on the past six and half years since Jeffrey Epstein was arrested, I couldn’t help but ask: where have these people been? Where were they when we were going to see “Sound of Freedom,” a movie that was generally panned by the mainstream critics as a QAnon conspiracy theory? Or when we surmised quite rationally that – since he was involved with such high-level people – Epstein might not have killed himself at all?

Trump continues to demonstrate his commitment to law enforcement and working Americans, as he highlighted in this week’s State of the Union Address. We proudly stand behind him.

The rules matter. Integrity matters. And protecting the Republican primary process matters.

But cyberspace, coupled with artificial intelligence (AI), presents new threats and raises new issues in protecting children from porn. ... All pornographers need to do is find a photo of an innocent person, generate a nude body to go with it, and they’re in business.

To suggest SB298 is simply an attempt to take power away from a black mayor is laughable. 

I will pray for Ivey, not to sway her will to my own – but that she may carry the sword of authority as a cross – with wisdom and fortitude to do God’s will as one so made in His image.

People often compare filling out their tax forms to learning a new language because of how stressful and confusing it can be. However, this year, I’m proud to say that Alabamians will be bringing home more money than ever thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts.

Leadership positions exist at the consent of the majority caucus. Yet silence has prevailed. The reluctance to act proves exactly why grassroots involvement matters, because insiders protect insiders. 

The Republic’s commercial institutions need not choose between principle and profit. They need only remember which principles their charters were designed to serve. 

Without independent oversight, power operates in darkness. And history has shown, time and again, that darkness is where corruption grows. Transparency is not an attack on leadership – it is a protection of it. It strengthens the integrity of our institutions and preserves the trust of the people.

The purpose of high school sports – helping students learn and grow as people – is what we are here to protect and preserve for generations to come.

As the martyrs sang on the ice, so let us proclaim from housetops: Christ is King! Deny Him before men, and He denies you before the Father. But acknowledge Him, and eternal glory awaits.

Emergencies will come again, and federal pressure will certainly follow. The only question is whether Alabama will be prepared next time.

It all started in third grade. My teacher read to the class from a book. A mass-market paperback. A book about angels. They were stories of impossible rescues, and unlikely redemptions. Then, she told a story of her own.

If Reed wants the state to stay out of his city’s business, then he should immediately admit he has a problem and publicly embrace a pro-law enforcement, pro-law-and-order philosophy.

Trump remains overwhelmingly popular with Alabama Republicans. His approval rating sits at 88% in our survey. But popularity doesn't automatically transfer. Voters can love Trump and still make their own judgments about individual candidates.

For too long, oversight of our corrections system has been fragmented, informal, or housed too close to the very institutions it is meant to examine. That is not a criticism of individual employees; it is a recognition of a structural weakness.

Next time you hear someone say Trump is Hitler running an authoritarian regime, that ICE is the Gestapo, and that Trump’s followers are Nazis, just walk away. The person is either given over to the delusion served by the media … or they know they already lost.

A competitive freight rail system is essential to keeping agriculture moving, prices stable and rural economies strong.

America will find it’s way back to marriage and families if the younger generations are simply willing to embrace sacrificial love. Aside from the Biblical truth that marriage is a covenant made before God, sanctioned by God, and blessed by God, marriage also enables two selfish human beings to become more selfless.

Let Canada serve as a lesson. The government we elect must continue to fight for our way of life. If we let down our guard, someone will try to destroy everything we’ve built in our great state and country.

If Congress and the Supreme Court followed Madison’s interpretation of the General Welfare Clause, America would have much lower taxes, lower spending, and lower debt.

Republicans are currently underwater, but not out of line with historical data, while predictions of a “Blue Wave” are not yet substantiated by polling. But looking further and examining the presidential map in just under three years, a few themes become clear.

The global elite say they love the stranger, but their true love has always been estrangement. Put simply, estranged people are much easier to control than those with deep roots and long memories.

For Presidents Day, we deserve an honest reckoning with the presidents we excuse and what our selective conscience reveals about our values and moral judgment of our leaders. 

The Southern Gentleman ... aimed higher – not from snobbery (which is itself another closed form, another mirror), but from the conviction that standards are meant to be kept, that culture is not an ornament but a discipline, practiced as one practices prayer, citizenship or love.

In the midst of change and upheaval, who will teach our children?
